Well, it used to be just another dream... The dream, which I ones thought will never become true... But, fortunately for me, at that time I was wrong)))
Let's start...
Well, it was quite a joinery. Toronto - New York - Lima - Pucallpa. O, excuse me, let start from the beginning, because the joinery has started about six month before the trip by itself)).
Do you believe in coincidence? Or, everything happens for a reason?... So, a little story here - after two weeks I payed a deposit for the trip, and about half a year before the trip, at one festival I met a person, which I didn't know before... We talked about spirituality, some medicine plants... and the person mentioned a friend (let's call her M.) which she knew long long time ago... And now imagine my surprise, when I heart M.'s name - because se supposed to be my guide into Peruvian Jungle...)) Yup, the world is small.
Okay, back to Earth... Usually I travel by myself, but not this time. We had a group about 10 people. And that is where the adventures has started! Even before the flights. So, the flight was changed by airlines..., don't even remember, how many times. And finally, the day has come! Actually, the early morning has come..)) I woke up, did some asanas, meditation, had some breakfast, checked my cellphone - and, voa la, surprise - the flight has been postponed for about 1.5 hour... Well, okay, fortunately we had some extra time for layover for second flight...))
Toronto Pearson, meeting with the group (very nice people, by the way) - New York (so far so good) - Lima... and, bum - lets adventures begin!!!... not the good one - the luggage of one of the member of our group is lost... (I'll skip the details now, just will say that she got her luggage back, after a month, when we back to Toronto. So, just in case - fight for your rights!... and never put power bank in the luggage - only carry on).
Well, we had a layover in Lima, about 6 hours, and suppose to go the some hostel to have some rest before the next flight to Pucallpa... buuut, since there was a problems with the luggage, we stayed at the airport for a while, and obviously, our "rest" appeared to be much shorter...))) Okay, let it be, finally got the hostel, and - haha, there was a huge party right behind the wall there!... I guess, I should had stayed at the airport, because the amount of the rest would be the same))), and, I'd saved some money))
Lets continue - early, early morning, (ou, I forgot to mentioned - we arrived to Lima around 9.30 pm), after couple hours of so so sleep, we at the airport again - trying to check in - and, another surprise - i, and 3 more people from our team just cant do it. Well, the airlines sold more tickets than plane has seats... and, we might stay in Lima a bit longer...))) So, at the end, we just had to wait, till the last passenger will board and see, will any extra seats left. And fortunately for us - up, hey had some extra seats...)))
And finally we arrived to Pucallpa!

It was soooo interesting there! I've been in many different places and countries... and every time it's something new!
Moto taxi, so many, so unusual! And the energy of the place - it's different..., obviously it's different,... hard to describe it... I'd say, more simple, than in a big city.

And all those flights, that list night almost without sleep - I felt just lots of energy and was ready to explore the city of Pucallpa! (by the way, we arrived there in the morning).
Okay, checking in in a hotel Casa Andina, which is around 15 min from the airport. It is very good hotel, I'd say. It has swimming pool, very good rooms, and the breakfast is amazing... Just letting you, my dear reader, know - I'm pretty simple guy, so just just do not need much)))...
After the check in me and couple people from our group went to explore the area. It is a market near the hotel - so we went straight right there. And that was cool! So huge! And it really remind me markets from Ukraine, you can buy almost everything there. I was sooo hungry, haven't eaten for a long time...
And, the first what I bought, it was a smoothie from some local fruits... It was very yummy!..., and the second thing which a bought - was another smoothie! The different one! Also yummy))

And, just wanna mention here - the third thing, which I bought was... nope, it wasn't a smoothie this time...)) it was a fruit... kind of I haven't seen before. What can I say, I like to try a new stuff)) And the fruit was soo sweet! yummy yummy, but, my lips were sticky after it for a while, and it was a new experience for me too))

But I still was hungry..., they had a huge live caterpillars there, protein)), but, this time I decided to skip this "delicious" meal..., I had some in the jungles of Venezuela already (not raw, fried))

So, finally, when the shopping was over, we started to look for a food, real food. But, unfortunately, couldn't find any around. I'm sure now, there had to be some restaurant or kind of nearby, because we were at the city center, Down Town of Pucallpa, kind of but... no luck. By the way, near the market the is a Plaza de Armas de Pucallpa, very interesting place..., but unfortunately for us it was closed at that time.
And I'll go a little bit forward here.
Since I'm talking about Plaza de Armas de Pucallpa, there is one place, which we visited on our last day in Pucallpa, before leaving Peru.
Ukaw - chocolate shop and cafe...)) And I highly recommend to visit this place too. Yummy cakes, different kind of yummy Peruvian chocolate, and, of course - different kinds of coffee))) Also yummy)) It was our "desert" after this wonderful trip))

And, since we found out about this place a bit later so, hungry and little bit tired we came back to the hotel.
And that's where the smart idea came to our heads - we decided to take the advise of our guide and to go to the place, which she recommended.
EL Tuyuyo Restaurant.
And the time for moto taxi has come!, because this place was about 10-15 ride from the hotel. And it was the fun ride! Almost Formula 1!

Well, we finally reached the restaurant, safely... ))) And the place was soo cool! I highly recommend to visit it, if You ever decided to visit Pucallpa. The non alcohol drinks from some kind of fruits, the food were soo yummy! So yummy so we came back again after we returned from the Jungle...

... Obviously, the day wasn't over after the restaurant, but... but after all those adventures in the first couple of days, I finally was a bit tired. So I just came back to the motel and spent the rest of the day by the swimming pool... I just needed to rest, because tomorrow adventures were waiting!...
THE NEXT DAY...
Good morning!!!
I woke up full of energy and ready to continue this joinery. Got some breakfast at the hotel and... Remember that person, whos luggage was lost? So, with the hope to get her luggage back (as was promised by airlines) we went to the airport. But, as I mentioned before - the luggage still was lost... Here I can give some credit to the person..., lets call her A. - she handled the lost pretty well, considering, that's she had pretty much everything there. So, after the airport we went straight to the market to get some cloth for her.
And from the market, back to the hotel, where our transportation already was waiting for us, and 1,5 hours of riding was waiting for us too.

First 20 - 25 minutes of riding was normal, regular road, regular streets of Pucallpa. Ou, I forgot to mentioned - it wasn't just regular bus, which was waiting for us - real cars for the real off-road, and that's what was waiting for us for the rest of the hour of riding.
Ou, again, I'm sorry, I didn't say, where we were going - so, from the hotel in Pucallpa, we were going to some small village, which was located at the beginning of the Jungle, Amazon Jungle. And the only way to get there was through some very small villages, which were connected by... unpaved kind of road (which was almost totally destroyed after the rain on our way back).

And finally we've reached our destination. The first one. Because after the ride we still had to take a boat ( it was a short trip, about 20 min), and after we still had to walk around 5.5 km to our final destination - a little family owned village in the Jungle.

The water was low, so by boat it was about 20 min... ride, sorry for my English...)) And, as as said before, because of that we had a longer hike.
Spoiler - the story on our way back was different. It was a bit rainy in our last days at the jungle, so the water was high, and it was a short hike, but longer trip by the boats, and more beautiful!

Well, we finally arrived to the jungle, and the hike has started! Behind my back was about 15kg, which wasn't so bad at the beginning. It was a really nice hike - fresh air gave me good energy, so I just enjoyed first 3/4 of the hike.
So, the trail by itself was more less okay, up and down, easy, hard - regular Amazon trail, I guess. Unfortunately for us, we didn't see any animas or birds on our way... I'll move forward here a bit - we didn't see any animals wild animals at all at this trip...((( But, were lucky and we met some birds, but already on our way back. But, we could hear them! Singing, and that was beautiful!

I put a hoody and pants despite on the heat just because didn't want to use a mosquito spray... And, mosquitos wasn't so bad... at the beginning...
Rubber boots instead of hiking boots - it was a really good choice, especially on our way back, after the rain, when the trail transformed into total mud path.
Okay, I do some workouts... but, I wasn't ready for this... After a while of walking, I started to get tired..., very, very tired... the fresh air didn't help much anymore..., I should had taken some energy bars, or bananas..., but... Guys, just prepare yourself, if you are going far and a long hike will wait for you. Anyway, one way or another, it's gonna be good for your health)).

Anyway, we finally reached the place, our final destination - Santuario, the small family owned village in the Amazon Jungle of Peru!

So, we are here... I'm here! Another dream just came true! Eh, how long I've been wanted to visit the Jungle. And, it used to be just a dream, it felt like something impossible... and now, and now I'm here! And nothing can describe these emotions - you just need to feel it, to experience it. And, it just another prove and reminder for me, and, maybe You too, My Dear Reader, that everything is possible)))
And, again, the air - soooo fresh!!! Birds were singing around, welcoming us and my soul was singing too)) Banana palms, coconuts..., limes, natural, organic, yummy!!! Welcome to Paradise!!!
And all tiredness just gone! I was full of energy again!... Mother Nature make miracles! Thank You!
And here it is - boiling river!

Truly, at first I thought that it was just warm, even despite on our guide warned us about the temperature of the water. But, it it was really hot! Super hot! Of course, I tried to put my arm in it and check by myself... yup, the guide was right..))) Well, I can swim in a frozen lake, but... I'll definitely will not swim here))) I literary could get 3rd degree burns, if I decide to... So, we just safely crossed the river in rubber boots and welcomed our new home for these six days...

Peace, calmness, happiness were waiting for us here... and also mosquitos were very happy to see us too.)) We stayed at the cozy cabins, no electricity, no internet... we were totally isolated from the other world... and it was amazing!!! Birds, lots of birds were singing for us every morning, the sound of the river was soo calm, the air it felt like it was the cleanest air which I ever inhaled into my lungs... The food, simple food, was soo yummy!!! And the fruits were soo sweet!...

And the Jungles gave me one more gift here... The thing is, I like to... collect, kind of, waterfalls by visiting them. Angel Falls, Iguazu, Victoria... and many, many more... But here the Jungles were hiding something very unique... The Hot Waterfall! I was swimming even under Angel Falls in Venezuela, but here... here I did totally different - since I couldn't swim here, I took a sauna)) The Hot Waterfall sauna)))

And, what else I did there all these days, You may ask... Well, just walking around, exploring the area, taking a sauna by the waterfall, eating bananas from the palm... and being yourself, like a kid... even mosquitos didn't bothered me anymore... looks like repellant worked well)))...
I just enjoyed the Life... Simple, life... I was totally connected not to the internet, but to Mother Nature, to my Soul... And I was Free...
And that is the real Magic....
The Magic of the Jungle...
And when nights came, Jungle opened a new door for us, the door to the different, magical world... But that's gonna be totally different story...
